magnesium, potassium, calcium,sodium chloride all are salts and electrolytes and out of the correct balance one will totally deplete the other! It will be lost from the cell,together in harmony they are electric within our cells and pump the needed levels in and out of the cells, once you interfere you unbalance all your electrolytes! Do not fiddle with these necessary elements, just be sure to eat balanced and restrict salt from adding to much! Eat bananas and potato's to get needed potassium and magnesium in proper levels in a natural manner so you don't disrupt your system!

Unless you take magnesium in a balanced form, too much at one time can give stomach disorders. There is a vitamin available with the correct amount of magnesium.

possibly diarrhea unless you have taken a truly huge overdose or taken a large overdose daily for an extended period of time.

Both Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate) and magnesium citrate are used in high doses to treat constipation.
