The farm belt is areas where the main way of life is farming. There is no certain run of states that are sole holders of the title. S. Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Louisiana, Nebraska, California, are just a few of the states that still farm heavily. Different areas of the states are consider farm belts because farming is so predominate in that area.

The mid-west is usually considered the farm belt. Every state in the country has their own farm belt.
