I mean, it wasn't good, but why was it a weird? Someone said that a guy would never sound good singing a LeAnn Rimes song, given the fact that she has one of the best voices, but why wouldn't a guy sound good?

yes, i agree. i thought it was kind of strange, not like it makes him dumb or anything, but i just think at this stage of the show, the performers should not do a song by certain singers unless they can really nail it, and i dont feel he has the quality or potential she does(LeAnn). not that he is horrible, he just is very plain and average.

I don't know.. I did not think it was weird.. it could have been better. But I think he can really sing.. and he's attractive.. in a weird way.

He probably just liked the song and wanted to try it. Idol is all about trying to make a name for yourself by trying new things.
