I was dissapointed with x and y a bit, only because of the material they had been working with on the AROBTTH tour. I think they could have made a heavier rock oriented album if they would have used songs like:
-Your World Turned Upside Down (one of my favorites)
-Pour Me
-Sweet Marriane
-Ladder to the Sun
-Idiot.
If they would have made an album around these songs It would be very uptempo and a good change.

I was kind of dissapointed with x and y, too. I LOVE Parachutes. It's one of my favorite albums of all time. I was actually dissapointed with Rush of Blood To The Head. It has some really good songs. But, overall, I just didn't think it had the same feel as the first album. I like x & y even less.

Classic example of a band putting out one great album, then kind of fading off into the sunset. Sad but true...
