Rachel Carson- and the book Silent spring. (Gore's favorite)
It led to the banning of DDT and 3 million deaths a year from Malaria (preventable). The discovery of DDT led to a Nobel prize because it saved millions of lives from malaria.
Roe vs Wade legalized some abortions in a few states, but even without the court decision it would have remained legal in the liberal states even if not in every state. Probably it is only responsible for under 5% of the abortions in the country. Probably less than a million or so, out of the 40 or so million abortions over the last 30 years can be traced to the Roe Wade decision. Total recent US abortions are numerically similar to (non abortion) deaths caused by Hitler, Stalin and Mao.
If you count China's one child rule as being responsible for 10 million abortions a year (in China), then it all goes back to Mao and his evil cabal.

Roe v. Wade is not a person so it is not a murderer.
Actually it is close between Josef Stalin and Mao Tse-Tung. They are both believed to have killed more than 20 million each.

Go tell a 14 year old rape victim she's the moral equivalent of Stalin. That'll do a lot of good.
Here some references of genocide:
Recent to Past Occurrences
* Bosnia-Herzegovina: 1992-1995 - 200,000 Deaths
* Rwanda: 1994 - 800,000 Deaths
* Pol Pot in Cambodia: 1975-1979 - 2,000,000 Deaths
* Nazi Holocaust: 1938-1945 - 6,000,000 Deaths
* Rape of Nanking: 1937-1938 - 300,000 Deaths
* Stalin's Forced Famine: 1932-1933 - 7,000,000 Deaths
* Armenians in Turkey: 1915-1918 - 1,500,000 Deaths
* Author/Bibliography
This is not counting preventable deaths of people due to malnutrition, inequality, famine, lack of access to medical care, and starvation from national or international policies. Nor does it include the number of other types of genocide casualties- rapes, refugees, mental illness, lost cultures, grief, etc. "Simply" the number of deaths that can be attributed to outright genocide. (I wonder why Guatemala's 200,000 did not make the list??) I would say the responsible parties are equally the leaders, and the ones under them who carried out the acts, under orders. Even worse were the complacent, who allowed them to happen. Who allowed almost 1,000,000 Rwandans to be murdered in ONE YEAR?
You cannot compare outright complicit mass human brutality of children and adults to a woman's private decision to abort a non-viable embryo. It's as misleading and dangerous as PETA's campaign to compare the horrors of Nazi concentration camps to modern chicken slaughterhouses (see the, "holocaust on your plate campaign"). It is horribly demeaning to the survivors to make that comparison. If you cannot see the difference, I feel really sorry for you. It is, in its own right, emotional terrorism as its worst. Even worse, it is profiting from another's suffering to make your point. I beg you go visit a genocide stricken area, look the survivors in the face, and get to know them (I have). Then, talk to a woman who had an abortion, for any reason, and really listen to her side of the story. After you do that, make your comparisons.

From the rise of the Soviet Union to its fall, 66 million were killed by the communist dictatorial government.
All together, due to terrorism, deadly purges, lethal gulags and forced labor, fatal deportations, man-made famines, extrajudicial executions and show trials, and genocide, 110 million died due to the practices of communist dictatorships.
This is the greatest 20th century genocide: Authoritarian communism
