Also why dont more women use backhand slaps. I got my first backhander the other night and it was the sorest slap I have ever had and I have been slapped a few times.

Unless the woman is defending herself in some way, the man should contact the local authorities and report the incident. If evidence is sufficient, the woman who assualted him would then be charged with assault or something similar.
The same would apply if the roles were reveresed.

Very simple. Call the police and have her charged with misdemeanor assault. You would be doing yourself and her a favor.
(It is interesting that no one above has suggested this)
I had a friend that hit another student just one time.
Instead of letting it go, she had him charged with assault. THAT taught him a lesson.
A few hours or a day behind bars does wonders to cure a person of the propensity toward violence.
EDIT: There do not have to be any bruises for the police to charge a person with misdemeanor assault.
In ANY case, DO call the police and report her. Even if they do not charge her, there is a record of the police being called and you can STILL lodge a complaint and attempt to get a restraining order.
Understand that even if she is not charged with a crime and you are unsuccessful in getting a restraining order, the police STILL record the incident, which could be used for a future reference.
Of course, cut off all contact with her and warn any and all mutual acquaintances.

It's a Catch 22, if you call the cops she can easily claim you did something to her and off you go. If you take it she will keep doing it.
Only real option is to walk away and cut off contact. Sad a woman can get away with hitting man. Especially after seeing all these bitter misandrists telling you that you deserved it. No one would ever say that if the positions were reversed.

I wonder, what should a woman do if a man slaps her across the face? Certainly not WALK AWAY, because the abuse of a woman is a VERY big deal, right?

Why the intense hatred of men, then? Furthermore, it doesn't answer the question; what should a WOMAN do if a MAN slaps her across the face? WALKING AWAY would certainly not be the answer in that case, WOULD IT?
You said before you were for equality. Equality refers to courtrooms too.

You should walk away since slapping her back will only get you in a world of troubel. If you feel like you need to get back at somone for it, go to your local illegal brothel and do a prostitute that is probably the victim of the trafficking of women slap her if you feel the need to, that way you can vent without exposing yourself to troubel (except for the nastie deseases she might carrie of course) and can keep your cool among women who are in the position to bring troubel over you .

I'm I reading these answers right? You should walk away and let it go. Some people have even said apologize. WHAT!? I would call the police, and pursue a restraining order. Chances are she is the type of woman who would be the first to have you jailed if the situation were reversed.

If it was out of the blkue, leave her immediately no matter what the circumstance. She might be an abuser.
If it was because you touched her somewhere she did not want to be touched, you might want to see if you have permission the next time.
If she says not before marriage, well then, only you know if you want to stick it out.
The next time, ask her "Was it good for you?"

The law will support the woman rather than the man, 99% of the time.
Report it to the police, show the evidence, get it recorded, but cut your losses and run.

A man walks away even if he is mad as hell or maybe says a few word, but does not hit her. A man who does that isn't man. Maybe, there's something about you, and could be a big reason why you are being slapped in the face a few times. I have never been slapped in the face, and I haven't always been nice. I think you have to offend or piss girls off to have them hit you, unles you just hang out with crazy chicks.

My wife slapped me across my face once because I urged her into shooting a shotgun and it scared her. She had seen me shooting it for the past half hour and she'd been shooting a smaller one so I didn't think it was that big a leap for her. But it changed everything for her to strike me. Our marriage waned after that, and we divorced five years later. Hitting someone is a big thing.
