Sounds like you pushed the resolution higher then what the monitor can handle. turn off the computer the turn it back on and press F8 key a few times when the computer turns on. It should show you a menu. Choose safe mode, and change the resolution back to the normal setting again.

Most likely. Although, it could just be a simple matter of screen resolution. Some monitors display resolutions that they cant use. Try switching it to a different computer. If it doesn't work there, then the monitor is dead. If it is, then I suggest upgrading to LCD (if you didn't have it before) since they can't have messed up screen resolutions where no picture is displayed.
Good luck!

Make sure you check using another monitor, this could be an indication of bigger problems with your computer if it is not a monitor problem.
If you find that you try another monitor and it is still having a problem try replacing your power supply in your computer. Have a certified technican do it for you if you're not experienced.

Is the computer screen plugged into the comparable outlet as each and every little thing else? If no longer, verify the opening by using plugging something into it to work out if it extremely works, like a lamp. attempt checking the flexibility twine to work out if it is comfortable. in case you have yet another ability twine obtainable, attempt using that one for it. in spite of you do, do no longer take it aside and poke around interior. Even unplugged, it may supply you an fairly super jolt!
