Good question.
The numbers for both elections were shameful.
Of the 30 million voters registered in California, barely 8 million voted for him, and that was from a total of 16 million people who turned out both times.
Unless Arnold does something massively stupid between now and the next election, he's going to ride out this situation.
But have you noticed how fewer and fewer republicans want anything to do with Arnold's social agenda? He's too liberal in his support for certain anti corporate laws. And his support for stem cell research has him blacklisted in the Baptist community.
So much for any chance at the presidency...

I lived in California my whole life. Even though Arnold is not a pure Republican, if a democrat got in like we had 5 or 6 years ago, they would assuridly put the state into bankruptcy. As crazy as the state is most people at least realize this.
