Ok, I'm in a VERY small mixed league that has only 6 teams. This is offset with the addition of several positions, extra categories (fielding %, doubles, holds, and K/BB) a larger roster and minor leaguers. Bear with me on this:

C - V. Martinez
1B - A. Pujols
2B - H. Kendrick
SS - J. Reyes
3B - M. Cabrera
LF - M. Holliday
CF - G. Sizemore
RF - V. Guerrero
Util - J. Morneau
CIF - A. Ramirez
MIF - M. Young
OF - J. Damon
Bench - None

SP - C. Zambrano
SP - J. Smoltz
SP - J. Peavy
SP - D. Matsuzaka
RP - S. Shields
RP - J. Rincon
P - K-Rod
P - T. Hoffman
P - T. Saito
Bn - R. Clemens, S. Kazmir, C. Sabathia, J. Broxton

Best Available Players:
C - J. Posada
1B - T. Helton
2B - J. Lugo
SS - R. Furcal
3B - S. Rolen
LF - H. Matsui
CF - C. Patterson/T. Hunter
RF - M. Ordonez

SP - M. Mussina, E. Bedard
RP - T. Gordon, C. Ray

Please rank team on 1-10 scale offense and pitching and add/drop advice.

It is a keeper league that has been running for a couple of years now, and, as you can see I've been making some good trades/keeps.

Grab Ray while you can. I wouldnt cut Clemens...he will only sign with a top contender so when he does pitch and isnt on his game he will still have an opportunity to get the W. Obviously you picked up Broxton so you believe the same thing I do...he will take Saito's job likely very soon. Let Saito go and grab Ray, otherwise leave your team alone and enjoy what promises to be a great season for you!

ARE seriously asking this? Number 1 I would not drop anyone that you listed on your team because your team is nasty...well maybe Clemens since he is only playing June-Sept. If you were to drop Clemens I would take a closer first like Ray (Gordon is overrated), 2-Hunter, 3-Matsui, 4-Furcal, 5-Ordonez, 6- Rolen, 7-Lugo, and 8-Bedard...would not touch the rest with a 50 ft pole

Your team is definetly a 10. The only player you should get are Chris Ray for Clemens, because he won't play more than half a season, assuming he plays this year at all. Grab Ray before anyone else can.

Sweet team. A definate 10. I agree drop Clemens and get Ray. You'll be waiting on him while Ray racks up saves.

your team is an 9

i think u should get jorge posada, because he is constantly a good hitter throughout the season when victor martinez is either really good or really bad

mike mussina and drop broxton because mike mussina is a good go to guy if any of your pitchers do bad during the season, you'll have mike on the bench. clemens i think you should cut him if he's retired, i dont think he'll have a good enough season n e ways so you might want to cut him to get mike mussina and keep broxton

dirty team man
only thing i see is T. Saito, hes going to struggle to get numbers like he did last year and you could see him replaced by a younger pitcher
other than that great team and good luck
