In August, I suffered a blow to my left thigh and suffered a bleed in the muscle, it wasn't serious. But today it has gone dead again, in the same place I suffered the blow originally.
Could it be to do with my doing quite a bit of cycling over the past two days?

I have a laptop, so don't think it is sitting at the computer too long! And I have been revising as I have exams at the moment.
Could that be another factor, sitting in exams for 3 hours at a time?

Sometimes when you suffer an accident like that you do not get feeling back in the original site. Sometimes the nerve is damaged and you loose feeling (dead) and since it involves a muscle injury it is sometimes hard to get feeling back. My legs go dead all the time and i have spent lots of money having tests done and they can not find anything wrong. They just say they must have hit a nerve wrong when i had surgery last time. It drives me nuts but there does not seem to be anything that I can do about it.

It sounds like a damaged nerve. A blow to your thigh could have easily caused nerve damage. You should see a neurologist to see if there is anything they can do for the nerve. Sometimes the nerves never heal, but there are medications that can help them heal sometimes, and other times they just don't ever heal.
