Tell your Mom Sweetheart. This is the very special bond that Moms and daughters should share.... Mom probably already knows :o) and has been waiting for you to make the first move...

The period coming close together is really nothing that should concern you. This happens all the time when girls are just starting their periods and it can take as long as a year for your cycle to regulated. The pain you are feeling I would betcha is simply menstrual cramps not unusual either... Some women have them all their life others after the have a baby the first baby disappear like magic... I would recommend a hot heat wrap or heating pad on your lower tummy / back , and some Midol. You should be good to go by tomorrow...

It is quite normal to get irregular periods when you first start to menstruate until hormones settle down but that is very close in duration. You really do need to talk to your Mum. She can offer you some advice and comfort that I think you need. It might be that your Mum had irregular periods at the onset of menstruation. You really need to talk to her. Don't be shy. I am sure your Mum would be happy to comfort you and offer you help. It sounds like you need something for the cramps also. You could try raspberry leaf tea or tablets and that should help. Also camomile tea is another excellent herb that really does help (from my experience) but many others take the raspberry leaf tea. Raspberry leaf is full of anti-spasmodic (anti-cramp) minerals. Camomile has other substances (as yet unknown I think) that calm crampy muscles. Take a brave step - go tell your Mum. Get yourself a hot water bottle for your tummy area also - really helps. Best wishes.

You need to talk to your mom or an adult who can help and have them help you make a gyno appointment!! If you are sexually active then you need to tell the doctor that(you can let it be a secrete with you and your doctor but DO NOT lie to the doc!!!!! It is important he know!).... you can also go to family planning for complete secrecy.. but I don't understand why you would be afraid to tell your mom about your period? She has one! every woman gets one eventually! Nothing to be afraid of!

Why are you afraid to talk to your mom? You're 14 and this is the person who should be helping you, not a bunch of strangers on the net!!
