Going on German Exchange there on Wednesday, is there anything I should know about the town?

This is a beautiful time of the year to go to Germany, be sure and visit some of the Ale-houses and the historic district in the area. I was stationed not far from there - the more you can get out, the better. Dig your heels into the city, take public transportation, and meet all the people you can. Germany is incredible.

Torsten gave you the best link to Marburg. It is really worth a visit, don't miss the Castle, the "Elisabeth Church " and the "Oberstadt " If you like Jazz, go to "Cavete " a small Club in the Old town........I lived there for about 16 years and I miss it so much...... :-(

Have a great time there, with best wishes from Germany :-)

The website of Marburg is http://www.marburg.de - and there's also an article on Wikipedia about that town, check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marburg

I have never been to Marburg and I don't want to give you any false information...Just check the websites above or search on Google for more on Marburg. All I know is that Marburg is a beautiful town, not too far from Frankfurt. But, again, I have never been there.

Greetings from Germany...
