No, but just remember to change it every 4-6 hours....sometimes 8....but not longer. Did you remove yours in your sleep one night and forget you did and then panicked when you couldn't find it when you woke up? I did that once.

No. The passage of the cervix into the uterine cavity during menstruation is about 1/2 the diameter of a pencil. A tampon (even the Slims) are about as big around as your pinky or index finger. There is NO way a tampon could go into the cervical canal.

Boy, your real curious about medical devices for women and women's anatomy...it is kinda creepy...
No, a tampon cannot get past the cervix....well, not unless it was shot in by a harpoon!!!
In response the person a few above me wo said that "a baby can, why not a tampon?"...during labor, the cervix efaces and dialates to allow passage of the baby. The cervix does not dialate for a Playtex Gentle Glide...
