Multitudes of people in our society have come to believe that they benefit from abortion. They have been convinced by endless propaganda that the practice of unrestricted abortion is good and that it must be protected at all costs. This extreme view comes from the radical feminists who argue foolishly that women should be free to choose to kill their unborn babies. They fail to see that if a choice needs to be made, it should be made before the conception of a child. After conception, it is too late. A child who is an individual has been created. One of the most important principles of traditional Western civilization is that one individual should not kill another for convenience. The feminists have cast this principle aside by allowing women to kill their unborn babies. There is no real difference between killing a child before or after it is born.
In the minds of radical feminists, men and women are engaged in one big power struggle. Feminists believe that for women to win their struggle, they must have total control over child bearing and be able to kill their unborn babies on demand. Actually, there is no big power struggle between men and women. If an independent observer from Mars were to come to Earth to study the interactions between men and women, he would not find a state of ongoing war. He would not find roving bands of men forcing women to produce babies, they do not want. He would instead find that, in most cases, men and women get along very well together. The feminists have created this struggle myth to advance their political power. Unfortunately, they also created our American holocaust.

An excellent analysis. Indeed, a woman's right to choose what directly occurs to her own body is certainly a right she is entitled to in a general sense. However, pro-choice individuals need to appreciate the context of an abortion. A woman's right to choose does not only affect her own physicality but- more significantly- her choice ends a life (or, at the bare minimum, halts the potential for a life) without regards to the "voice," so to speak, of the fetus. Medical technology is far too advanced for the second trimester to even be considered by people who may have an abortion. Ending a life by one's own decision, without regard to what that life may become, is tyranny- not a freedom. Surely, in most cases, if individuals took responsibility for their actions, they would not be in the situation of contemplating abortion in the first place. A lack of accountability certainly seems to be a questionable platform upon which to base a decision of ending a life. I was an ingnorant adolescent (fresh out of highschool) when I got my girlfriend (now wife) pregnant. We now have a beautiful four year old and our a happy, productive family... People should assess the abortion issue from a PERSONAL viewpoint, instead of as merely a detached, "ethical" issue to be discussed in a 400 level college classroom. I've lived through my and my wife's choice... and I am all the better for it.

No. It is nobodys business. The only thing flawed about the abortion issue is the continued government interference with pressure from the religious whackos that keep trying to chip away at this most personal matter.
I feel you are awfully young. I hope you never find yourself with an unwanted pregnancy...but if you do, it will be YOUR choice to give birth or not.
As to the fetus, if you stop listening to the religious nuts and study conception, you will see that there is no conflict about abortion as far as the fetus goes.
You are basing your opinion without really knowing how conception works, the development stages of the fetus and when viable life begins.

I think it's a very difficult question to answer both in a conversation and in real life. The one thing I am sure of is, no person should make a rule about another person deciding whether or not to bring a child into this world. While I do NOT advocate abortion, I think it is a lesser evil when compared with bringing a child up in drugs, abuse, etc. or giving it up for adoption with the possibility of it never being loved. I think if a woman feels her BEST option is to have an abortion due to her circumstances or lifestyle or whatever her reason is, then I think that choice should rest with her and her alone right OR wrong.

Yes it is flawed badly abortion is wrong , take for instance late term abortion they saw the baby into pieces to get it out how much worse can you get than that to a fellow person but yet this was part of you. The answer is simple as my grandmother would say just keep your legs closed.

I do not agree with abortion as a form of birth control. Now with that being said, I think that there are many extenuating circumstances involved with the decision to have an abortion. There can not be a law that covers every circumstance so I feel that things should be left as they are and leave it up to the woman to decide. She should not have to explain her decision to anyone else.

wow you really pick your topics dont you. Jeez-I really think that if a woman wants an abortion she will get it one way or another. If they are that dead set on an abortion-what kind of damage would she do to herself if she wasnt able to get one? I think that if they use abortions as a form of birthcontrol, then they need to do something as far as tieing her tubes. Good topic

Flawed one hundred percent. Thats why abortion clinics tell their "customers" "Don't feel bad.its just a piece of tissue". That how they ease their consciences and then take their blood money.
