Because when I leave for class every week (I attend part time for one night a week) there is a coke and a candy bar sitting in the driver's seat of the car for me to have on the ride to school. He's not my husband yet but will be soon and I couldn't be happier.

You won't ever know for sure. You can only hope. My cousins husband appeared to love and adore his wife and I know she worshipped him. We were all shocked when he left her for another woman. His reponse was that he just woke up one day and didn't love her anymore and could'nt go on pretending for another 3 years. He said it was nothing she did and took all the blame but none the less, no one saw it coming.

Darling, I am a terrible lover. But I adore my wife. My wife can find out more about the state of my heart with a few simple questions than I could ever tell her without her help. I do believe that every man's chief goal in life is to explore his woman physically and emotionally. The rest of what we do ... at work ... at religion ... at play ... are mostly abstractions of the real goal.

Can I ask this? Are you the Chief Emotional Executive of your family. You need to be. I'm afraid dear, that this may be the real issue. You probably know the answer to your own question, and your Mom is probably in the background of it to begin with. Mom's are so important in helping their daughters be equal partners in marriage ... instead of being someplace in the background. Her role model was, or is, very critical to your method of managing the 'us' of your marriage.

I think we men need to yield to the superiority of women in matters of the heart ... the emotional realm. We need our wives' leadership in this area. We are lost without our wives exercising their gifts in making us feel safe and accepted in our manishness. We live in the narrowness of our external and rigid systems. We look to our wives to free us to love them with passion ... to empower us.

If you can make your man feel safe, he'll tell you everything you want to know. Love to you both. Great question honey!

Well, it's undeniable and indescribable.
I asked my son once how he knew my husband loves me and how much - LOVE his answer - he said, "Are you KIDDING? Don't you see the way his eyes all get bright when he walks in the front door after work and he sees you?" -- out of the mouth of babes.....

Oh mine shows it the best, he's jealous, possessive, controlling, full of anger, accusational, over bearing and he constantly checks up on me trying to catch me doing something I shouldn't be doing (which I'm not). That my dear is true love!!!!!!!!!!!
