Why don't they show some consideration for us men!!

it's hard to close the lid without putting the seat down as well.
and i close the lid for many reasons, to prevent the spread of germs like a few stated, to keep things from falling into the toilet (have a cabinet above it) cuz it's no fun having to fish something outta there, and to keep my cats out of it. my husband has no problems with this, as it was his habit as well.
btw, on the rare occassion that he doesn't put the lid/seat down, i don't really care, i'll put it down myself.

Why do men always leave the toilet seat up? Show some consideration for us women!!! We have to sit down you know! It's way more complicated than standing. All you need to know is how to aim.

Men and women should put the toilet seat AND the lid down. What, were you raised by wolves? It looks better, and I've read studies that show that flushing the toilet with the lid, and especially the ,seat up causes "over-spray" sending e.coli bacteria shooting off to a distance of three or four feet from the toilet. Where in the bathroom is YOUR toothbrush?

i for my area, did not provide a hoot if I spent one extra 2 seconds popping the seat down after a male. on the different hand, one night I have been given very under the impact of alcohol, went to 'harm the seal' and fell right this moment by using, because of fact the seat became up, and have been given semi-caught interior the rest room. it is my own reason at the back of desiring the seat down after a guy transaction =)

I don't know about you but I have two men in my house and they both sit down to wee - as with all typical men they do not see what is under their noses and if I left the seat up after use they would both fall down into the toilet bowl - highly embarrassing for all concerned don't you think!

Because men think that they are the only ones that can pee standing up.. Little do men know that women can pee further and faster then a man. And with practice more accuracy. That being said, a bathroom is a girls throne, where she is in charge. So why not leave the toilet seat down, for her and for her connivance.

Because they dont pee standing up like we do. And they also like the toilet to be clean before they use it because they put their butt on the toilet seat. We men could care less about the condition of the toilet because we never touch it.

I keep it down because my cat would probably try and drink out of it. Also did you know that if you keep it up when you flushed the toilet bacteria etc can jump up to 6 foot.
