If you feel it happens for a particular reason... What is YOUR theory as to why certain unfortunate things happen to good people?

Example: A sign that their life should move in a different direction, they should learn a lesson, test of strength.

I totally think that everything happens for a reason. To help you to learn things and to help you somewhere down the road to make a good decision because of it.
I was in a car accident last year. That taught me that I needed to grow up and start making better decisions. I've changed lots of things in my life since then. Its having a good effect on everything in every aspect of my life because of my new outlook on things.
I had a miscarriage a few years back. I was devastated. It took a long time to get over it. BUT the guy I was with was a total loser and I couldn't see it at the time. I'm now out of that relationship and glad I don't have anything to tie me to him or the relationship.

Yes, I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I think sometimes bad things happen to good people to build character and test their strength.

Yes. Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes it just takes years to figuire the reason out.

If someone you love leaves you, and you're heartbroken, it's because you're destined to meet someone better!

And sometimes there's just simply no logical explanation as to why things happen, and the best I can offer you is that you can't know happiness without knowing pain. It helps keep things in perspective.

as to the first part of your question I do think every thing happens for a reason good or bad if you don't believe that then what would you believe? that thing's just happen for no reason ?that would be sad, like getting married, having children and watching them grow up ,if you belive that , that is for no reason then you are missing the greatest part of your life.
