I'm taking the coaster train south from Carlsbad to San Diego Santa Fe depot (train station downtown). What bus do I take to get to Terminal 2 at the airport? thanks in advance!

The Flyer Route no.992 runs between the airport and downtown San Diego, stopping at the Sante Fe depot for connections to Coaster trains (linking the North County and downtown San Diego) and the Amtrak train station for nationwide services. Buses also connect to San Diego’s trolley service.

As stated by others the MTS route 992 airport flyer provides service between the Train Station and the airlines terminals. What some others may not know is, that your Coaster ticket is valid on the 992 bus for a free ride to the airport!

yes take the flyer route and hold on your coaster
ticket (its good for the connecting bus to the airport)
