I'd like to know what u guys think about the name Juanita for a baby girl. Is it a pretty name? Suggestions for middle names are also very welcome! (Last name Esparza) Also, what would be a good nickname (besides Anita or Annie)?
Thanks! ;)

Yeah, my husband is mexican.
He also suggested Analucia (besides some others), but I don't like that name at all. :(

No, my husband's name is not Juan.
All the answers are really surprising because with this name seems like there's only people who absolutely love it or absolutely hate it. When reading about other names, there's more like i like it or it's okay, or don't like it that much.
I think I am going to choose another name, just thought a Spanish name would have been nice cause she'll be half Mexican. Already looked thru Spanish baby girl names but haven't really found one I like.
You guys can suggest more names, that would fit well with our last name, that would be great! Thanks!

That is a beautiful name, if you are Hispanic. For the middle name, I like Maria, it may be a little over the top for some people...but it is very Hispanic sounding! Good Luck with the baby!

I think Juanita is beautiful for a girl....as for middle names, I like Juanita Grayce. A good nick name would be Jae. You could also name her something like Juanita Teresa, which is a beautiful spanish name, but then just call her J.T., and also give her the option of another name from her heritage if she decides she doesn't like Juanita.
Good luck to you

Nicknames: Jua-Jua [wah-wah], nita, ni-ni, juani [wani],
juani-ni[wah-nee-nee], nina, tati [tah-tee], juana [wah-na], or jeejee [gigi].
Good Luck!!

Juanita is the female version of Juan, and since I live in a hispanic community, everyone is either named Juan or Miguel. I think exotic names are good.

I like it. You could call her Jan, Nita, Nicki. With this name you can get away with a lot of different things. How about Juanita Maria, Juanita Cecily, Juanita Alicia, Juanita Bianca...

I think its pretty. Anne sounds nice for a middle name. A lady I knew with that name was called Juanita. I'm not into nicknames much.
