Yes, black women are born with a "different" grade of hair, and different does not mean it is beautiful.
When does straight equate beautiful?

Why do white men and women get dread locks? Why do many white women get butt implants so they can have larger buttocks like a black woman? Why do many asian people go out of their way to get ethnic i.e. black hairstyles. Why does every race of people emulate the entire black race but at the same time never give credit when credit is due? I love my kinky, curly, wavy hair! Sounds to me like you’re jealous because you can’t do anything with that lame straight hair you hold as the ultimate standard of beauty ha ha

You're so mean. Do you think black women like being called ugly because of their hair? Do you think it makes them feel better about themselves when you say things like that? You can't get rid of nappy hair, and magically grow straight hair. Many black women perm their hair or wear weaves because guys like you make them feel ugly because of their natural hair. Do you really have to rub it in their faces?
And you white people wonder why many black women carry a chip on their shoulder and are bitter and angry. Wouldn't you be angry if people always called you ugly and ignored you and treated you like you were a dog? Think about it.
P.S. I like curly hair, straight hair is plain, flat, and thin looking. Curly hair is more beautiful in my opinion. Not everyone feels the same way as you do. Some people have decided not to be so mean and to see the beauty in differences in people.

first of all i agree with everyone else -- black women's hair is just as beautiful as white women's hair! but the reason why black women's hair is "nappy" is because black women dont have the same oil glands in their scalps as white women.

Straight beautiful hair? I rather have a head FULL OF wavy, wooly, THICK, jet black hair, like I do now. I want to be different.
