I dont think the founders of this country expected freeodm to be interpreted into "gimme, gimme, gimme"

Figures you would find a way to blame Bush for it. Liberal programs cause a lot of the day to day costs. Conservatives want less government. That lowers your tax liability. Democrats want to artificially raise the minimum wage. That raises the cost of everything. Then add in All of the overboard environmental regulations that Liberals put on everything (greenies) and you get everything costs more. So don't blame Bush Missy it's all on your party.

You have to pay for things because everyone else is free not to give them to you if they don't want.

Money is just an intermediary step that replaces barter. In olden times, if you wanted something, you traded with whoever had it.

Money allows you to trade your goods or services to someone else, and then they give you a marker (money) that has value to somneone else. It replaces the barter system with something more flexible.

But nobody is compelled to give you anything -- that's their freedom. So, if you want something, you need to convince the other person to give it to you. And that's barter or money.

The best answer?

"Freedom is having the choice between working and starving".

Don't confuse freedom with an economic issue. That's not what the word means in this sense. When you say "America is free", you're saying that we can worship (or not) wherever we want...shop wherever we want.....live wherever we want....work wherever we want. We make our own choices, within the framework of the law, and don't have those choices made for us.

Free is not in the financial sense.

You have freedom of choice.

And I've never paid for air, and am glad to pay $25 a month to have filtered water, thank you.

it is said exactly NOWHERE that "everything is free" . you have freedoms, but you are not entitled to be given things.

name somewhere that charges for air.

want something free? go to a park, go for a walk, go to the grocery on Sundays and eat samples.

your comments on bush pleasing daddy is too retarded to answer.

Your free to buy nothing if you would like.

Your free to not work and live on the streets.

Your free to whine about sh*t that some people that live on the street would kill for!!!

I go outside. I don't pay for air.

I find a water fountain. I don't pay for water.

Welcome to capitalistic society. So... go get a job, or work harder to make more if you can't afford what you want.
