JB Weld - two part epoxy available in most hardware and automotive parts stores. (It is NOT flexible.)

I repaired my coolant overflow bottle for my van. This was a custom fit unit, or I would have rather installed a new generic replacement as the OEM one was $65. It's still holding fine after two years now!

Try some clear silicone sealant/adhesive. Just make sure your container is dry before applying it:)

appropriately sized self tapping sheet medal screw with a dab of silicone sealant on the threads is one remedy
