How in the world can you give your undivided attention to the country, when your wife is so ill?

You can tell a lot about a man's character by how he treats his family. His kids need both of their parents now. Running for anything is too demanding.
He should drop and hope to be able to run again in the next election and after his wife's treatment. Hey, he could chair the DNC - there'll be a vacancy there after the election...
