Not sure about that, but we surely HAVE to repeat the same mistakes until we learn how to avoid them.

It isn't much of a pattern once you realize life is about learning. Its like school if you learn the lessons first time, you do not have to repeat the course. Seeing the lesson in each experience and learning from it quickly is called wisdom.
