I'm a great cook, over a campfire. Not as good on a stove. Weird huh?

I've been told by a lot of people that I'm a good cook. I completely believe that anyone can be a decent cook by simply following a recipe EXACTLY as it is written- no substitutions, no shortcuts.
ADDED: mommymon- very funny answer- reminds me of a magnet my mom had on her refrigerator- 'My favorite thing to make for dinner is a reservation'. Me too!!

I'm a great cook, and I love to bake also, it's expensive to cook the way I really like to though.

I am now. It takes practice and patients. I can only cook dishes I really love because otherwise I cannot taste test everything.
