I love scrabble. I wish there were competitive tournaments in my area. I played it with my mom all the time when I was little. It is an excellent way for a kid to improve their vocabulary and expand their mind by playing an intellectual game instead of crappy boardgames or video games.

Scrabble is the best.. here's a good word to know for the end when you've used all your letters up and you see a triple word score square...

i always play with my mum and i always seem to loose, i swear she makes up random words that are apparently in the scrabble dictionary and i couldnt even get away with yodel lol

Yes until one person gets a bit bitchy and starts querying the legitimacy of words used by the opposition.Depending on the response it could very nasty.
