I am getting sharp stabby pains in my belly, probably every 5 minutes. They arent too bad, but hurt enough to make me go 'ouch' i have had braxton hicks (which seem uncomfy but dont hurt) do you think this is just really strong braxton h icks>?

When I was in labor, I didnt start getting painful contractions until after my water broke. You're REALLY close to your due date though. Usually labor takes hours but if the pains start getting closer or your water breaks get yourself to a hospital pronto! Congratulations on the baby!

honey if they are consistantly 5 min apart you are in LABOR!!!!
call you doctor you have probably been contracting and dialating without realizing it especially if you have been moving around busy today I did this with my second child I had a 4 oclock appointment with my OB which was right after work and I felt crampy but not really painful and was walking around staying busy stocking shelves. When I got to the doctor i told him I was having little contractions all day when he checked me I was dialated 5 cm and my son was born at 6:23 pm that night

if they are steady comming every 5 mins for like an hour you should go to the doctor false labor pains are not steady so it may be true labor

sounds LIKE YOUR IN LABOR. JUST TIME THE CONTRACTIONS AND IF THEY GET ABOUT 5 MINUTES APART GO TO THE HOSPITAL- YOUR BABY IS ON THE WAY!

It could be contractions. Just keep timing them. If they get stronger,closer together, or your water breaks go to the Dr/Hospital.
