No. A Mason cannot answer this question without violating his oath. Why do you want to know? If you intend to pretend you are a Mason, knowing the handshake will not work. The Mason you shake hands with will then proceed to ask you questions that you will not understand, much less be able to answer.

I am not sure that you will be able to find out this information due to it could be breaking some of the Freemasons laws. If you do however want to understand some of the history behind this society then check out the website below.

You have to have one trouser leg rolled up, and wear a leather apron and a bowler hat. Do that in the street and I wouldn't have to kill you.

There are many different Freemason "handshakes" so really it depends which one you want to know about!!
