What do you think of the last scene where Xavier has transfered his cosciousness to the guy they speak of in the film?

It was the best part of an otherwise mediocre movie. Unlike in the first two movies, where they stayed reasonably close to character arcs from the comics, this film strayed too far from the comics, which irked me. Maybe I need to see it again, though, because now when I think about it, some of the concepts in the movie should have been pretty interesting: Mystique getting abandoned by Magneto after she loses her powers, the younger XMen getting brought up to the majors after the team becomes short-handed, Jean Gray flipping out and becoming a loose cannon. Yeah, I can't put my finger on exactly why it was such an uninspired film. But I do hope that the Prof X scene was indeed a prelude for a fourth movie.

I think it is classic X-men where a character dies and gets resurrected. I think it sets up great way to continue the Phoenix Saga, maybe go to the Shi'ar galaxy even bring in Bishop and give Storm a sex scene ala Monster's Ball......am I rambling?

Totally stupid.

The movies were SO horribly written, and just plain WRONG!

An insult to all true X-Men fans.

It's a hint that there will be more X-Men movies.
