Is this where we are headed as a society? Sure seems like it.

Yeah I have seen it. i though it was going to be a stupid movie, but the scary thing is, it does look like our society is heading for that direction. People are really getting lazier, technology is getting better, you can receive a college degree over the internet, why not become a doctor and lawyer too.
Not to mention our language. Even in the office environment people are speaking in slang terms and curse words. People in their 30s and 40s, God knows what they will be saying 300 years from now. Its sad, but true, oh yeah, and I liked the movie too!

I have seen this movie.
The future world that it projects is an extreme but it is very plausible.
To be honest I think in some ways we are already there and this movie is more of a commentary on the current state of our society and a possible outcome if we stay on our current path.

I have seen it. It was underrated. I sure hope we are not headed that way. Maybe the general public is getting dumber, I could believe that. As long as we have a small group of intellectuals in every milieu to keep making advances in technology, medicine and literature we will be o.k.

you know, gatorade fountains aren't such a bad idea, but i hope as far as the rest goes it is not where we are headed. we as a people are very intelligent, and i can't see the human race declining that much.
