For a school report i have to find the history of clocks (telling time), such as how do they used to tell time back then and now and the developments of the clock, and a time line if you could help me please do. Thanks!

Where do you live? There is a Time Museum in Rockford Illinois. It has hundreds of time pieces on display with information on their development etc. Maybe you could contact them for information if you don't live within driving distance.

Note: I assume when someone asks these type of question they are not trying to cheat but are asking for source suggestions they may not think of.

they told time by the sun.they put a stick in the ground so the sun would make a shadow then they drew a line and theyd know what time it was.DO NOT go to Wikipedia its all lies on there or something bad.
