Is there any hardware, software, or ways to put allot of music on my computer while keeping it running smoothly and fast? I have a ton of music in my iTunes that i want to keep handy, yet it is slowing my computer down. Any suggestions? (external hard-drive, upgrading RAM?)

I think you should increase your computer's performance
right click on My Computer then choose properties
then choose the advanced tab
on the performance section hit setting
then choose the advanced tab
hit the "change" button
choose the drive where you set up itunes then give it some space
the more space you give the faster it'll run
and as for upgrading your RAM to 512 or 1G
it's preferable but programs fasten your computer on account of other programs so i don't think programs are a good idea
hope i helped

well your system may be overloaded
music files take up alot of harddrive space

you may want to invest in a mp3 player or an ipod

go to start
go to my computer
right click c drive
click properties
now how much of your harddrive are you using

if your over half you have to find away to get some more space

removing files to cd is a start

i'm sorry yet you probably did no longer furnish us with an entire documents or specs approximately your workstation. i'm assuming that your workstation would not have a photos card, so I recommend you upload a photos card if your workstation is upgradable. including GPU's (photos Processing Unit) can very much develop the FPS (Frames consistent with 2d) which ability gameplay may be greater advantageous. if your workstation has a GPU, close all pointless purposes working or substitute settings of the sport to a decrease settings.

the best thing for this is to get a second HDD just for downloads. this will keep your system from getting overloaded. it won't hurt to have more memory either. if you have less than 512, then i would get more ram.

have at least 1gig of ram.
if you are on windows i recommend using mediamonkey. my pc is about 3 yrs old but with mediamonkey it runs smooth with about 15 thousand songs in the library.
