When has anybody ever said that Bush wasn't responsible for leading us into war? That's what C-in-C's do - lead! It was his belief, after reviewing all the information, after discussing with his staff and advisors and JCS, etc, after discussion with other countries, that Saddam had to go.
Of course the invasion of Iraq had nothing to do with OBL! Bush never said it did, nor did his administration or the rest of the GOP or his supporters. So why you feel the need to say this is beyond the grasp of rational people. Because the reasons he actually stated (as opposed to the false one you smear him with) are still right, are still viewed as valid by the sane people.
And why do you think Bush called himself (in a self-deprecating manner) the "Decider"? Because, in the end, it is HIS responsibility, HE is accountable, HE will suffer the blame. That's why it was his choice to take this politically risky move to do what he believed was the right thing to do.

He is responsible and won't back down. Too bad all those congressmen haven't done the same thing. I guess you would have to say they are chicken-**** for not having the nerve to back up their mouths. Any way you cut it, they are as responsible as anyone. Even Hillary said she came to the same conclusion as the President after her own exhaustive independent investigation. I have never been a Hillary supporter. But the Lady shows me something when she stands by her word and won't back down and even states we must stay in Iraq for strategic purposes even after the election. I was always the first in line to criticize her on many other matters but I will be the first in line to say the lady has some guts and doesn't back up like some of her other gutless friends in Congress. Good for her. She definitely went up a notch over her other opponents.

Wait, didn't Congress authorize everything Bush has done? Bush is not blameless but those who were in Congress and voted for the war in Iraq (Sen. Clinton D-NY, Sen. Kerry D-MA, Sen. Reid D-NV, to name a few) should step up to the plate and admit their mistake as well.

President Bush IS one of the ones responsible for the war along with congress...However, there have been many wars with presidents responsible...Your question is far too broad...Ken Lay is just one example of many.

Congress voted to let Bush send troops to Iraq. Why aren't you making them responsible?
