the constitution
the constitution
and, oh yeah, the constitution.
In other words, get rid of the PATRIOT act, scale down the spending, scale down the size of government, and stay the crap out of mine and everyone else's business.

Well, I'm not sure what my party would be if I was american, but I tend to take a fairly libertarian attitude towards political issues. Just off the top of my head, the three issues I think are most important are probably:
- System of government (I think it should be changed from a representative democracy to a meritocracy or at lest something between the two).
- Education (let's face it, people are just way too stupid and ignorant these days, something needs to be done).
- Taxation (most kinds of taxes currently in place tend to discourage productivity and economic growth).

1. Stopping Government from legislating morality (ie. Making abortion illegal, cenorship, religion in politics.)
2. Cutting government spending. (End the Drug War now)
3. Keeping taxes low for all individuals
I have a couple more that would probably tie for 3 but 1 and 2 are definately my most important.

1-border security / national security
2-economy
3-Freedoms granted in the Bill of rights
4-reformed tax code (fair tax would be the best solution)
Reduced fed government-their main concern should be #1.
