You have a lot of cihlid's there. I would go to a local pet shop the old mom & pop type if possible. They may help or even buy your cihlids. The other thing is if you can't get information from them you can always just go to pet smart or some place like it. Their see how much they charge for one fish about the size of yours. Lets say they want five dollars for one fish then you should be able to sell your's at half that price wholesale. Or if you want to sell them for retail then drop your price by twenty five percent so you will be competitive. As for a tank, if you sell the fish out of your tank you don't need to put them into a tank for the new owner. If you are asking what kind of tank to put your own fish into that I can answer. If your selling fish they go into a plastic clear bag with some of the tank water. If you are in need of a bigger tank for your fish then get one big enough to give the fish room to move around in. You may even need more than one tank. I would make sure that it has the best possible filter you can afford as that is the most important part of the tank. You should be able to look online for wholesalers of tropical fish and maybe they will give you some information. best of luck...

Unfortuantely as you have seen convict cichlids are rather prolific and good parents so many of their offspring survive. Because of that convict cichlids aren't worth much. Many pet stores won't take them (they have too many) and a lot of people won't pay much for them. Some people will feed convict fry to other (carnivorous) fish to control populations.

It depends on the size. Usually bigger fish are more expensive. But personally I've always preferred to buy smaller fish so than can grow big in my tank. I think for fresh babies maybe an inch big should go for $15/ no less than $12.

I feed convicts to my sunfish. I wouldn't expect to pay more than a dollar per fish.
