IF you can afford it, and you don't owe more than your 06 RSX is worth -- which you probably do. Check out autotrader.com for a used Type-S.

Trade-in's are always a rip off because the dealer has to make money on both cars, the car they're going to sell to you, and the car you trade in thats going to be sold. But if you like the Type-S that much, go for it then, although the RSX's are discontinued. I think the CL type-S is pretty nice, but I heard it has transmission problens.

If you really like it then go ahead. The Type-S is obviously faster and better than the base RSX so I don't see why not.

doubt if you can find one, since they stopped with the 06 model....you can't find one down here in the south, unless it's used. (and so far I've only seen -1- used for sale)
You should have had the thought BEFORE you bought the automatic...

relatively undesirable deal guy.The RSX is a damaging motor vehicle I easily have drove one those days and that i will assure you that could be a undesirable motor vehicle and with all the subject concerns you listed that could be a undesirable deal.I propose you sell you Scion and with the money you will have sufficient funds some thing way extra effective than a crappy RSX with a majority of those problems.

You'll take a loss if you bought new. Think it through. This is how people end up owing $26k on a car worth $19k.
