If your nswering this then you hopefully know what Phimosis is. I'm 15, and i have it. It is not painful, and doesn't make me pee at all wierdly, but the thing is, im just worried when i first have sex, retracting my foreskin that much is gonna be really painful. I've done alot of web browsing about it, and i've heard that you can get surgery, or special cream. I wouldnt mind doing either, but theres 2 things which worry me. Telling my parents about it , and what the consequences of having a circumsized penis are (if i do have surgery). Please give me some useful advice..

Sex with a tight foreskin can be painful as the skin is sometimes forced back by the thrusting. Stretching is your best option. Circumcision is a last resort not a first-option treatment.
Click on the link below and read my stretching instructions. They should answer most of your questions.

There are several things you can try, and not all of them require going to the doctor's.
The first thing you should try are "stretching exercises" that tend to work in the majority of mild cases. For one stretching exercise, take two fingers and stretch the foreskin open as far as you can without pain or discomfort (like increasing its radius) by hooking a finger on either side of the opening, holding it in the stretched state. It's a little hard to describe and may take several tries to get right. It's best done after a shower when the skin is most pliable, and do it for a few minutes each day for a few weeks to a month.
If that doesn't work, and it usually does, then see your doctor about prescription creams. There are some studies that indicate that the creams are the most cost-effective and best treatment, especially when combined with the stretching exercises. If the creams fail or you see little improvement in a month, then you might want to consider surgical options. Note that this doesn't necessarily mean circumcision, as there are other less invasive and painful options.
Circumcision should only be reserved for when all options you're willing to try have failed. You can disregard any options that put circumcision as the first and/or only option. See links for more info, best of luck.

You do not need circumcision; the operation you've read about cuts the side of the foreskin, allowing it to retract fully. As the wound heals, you hopefully have enough elasticity to cure the problem.
You can do a series of exercises on your own though. With the penis flaccid, place each of your little fingers inside the foreskin, on opposite sides, and pull out until it is uncomfortable, but not painful. Keep it pulled out for 20 seconds, then relax. Do this 20 times. If you can do the whole exercise 3 times a day, that will help. Do this every day for a month, and gradually the skin will stretch out and you will be able to retract the foreskin comfortably. You'll find instructions for this and similar exercises on the net - just Google!

First of all, it isn't true that sex can be painful, then anything depends on the gravity of the event and lastly circumcision often isn't necessary.
Some guys still are living with a light Phimosis and slowly through some specific enlargement of the foreskin and helping with lubricant got better even. If your foreskin moves with difficulty and pain during erection get no embarrassment to talk with your dad or mum (some other parent or older friend) because major operation often is only a simple cut in day hospital.

You do not need to get circumcised. That's like cutting off your ears if you get wax in them. The people who told you to get circumcised simply do not know what they are talking about.
It's possible that you don't have true phimosis. Some men just have foreskins that do not retract fully until 18 or even older. It's possible that you just need to let nature take its course.
Probably all you need to do is stretch it, with or without cream. Most guys get results in about two weeks if they pull it just to the point of slight discomfort (NOT pain! pulling too hard makes it worse) about 20 times three sessions a day.
I strongly suggest you go to http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis/ You'll need to scroll past some stuff about babies to get to the area that's relevant to you.
Another possibility is just to change the way you masturbate: see http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis/beauge2/ It can't hurt to try!
Good luck! And don't let anyone cut you.

i have the same problem here, it doesn’t hurt me when i masturbate, or when i put on a condom, (ive never had sex, but i tried a condom on, just to see what it was like and if it fit), i had no problems with that, and i can wash it when im not erect, so i guess keeping clean isnt a problem for, me. The only thing im worried about is if its going to hurt if i have sex, like i dont know, since most of my friends who have are circumcised, but it doesn’t hurt to masturbate or to put on a condom, then i guess sex cant be all that bad, so im staying the way i am, until i have any problems.
