OMG!! why is sanjaya still in the competition. stephanie shouldn't have gone home, sanjaya should have!!! i know that some guy is telling everybody to vote for the worst person, but common, that's not fair to the ppl who are good!! and, what's w/ the crying girl. that was so lame!

You never know who the public will vote for. It is not Sanjayas fault. And that little girl was just emotional and over whelmed.

That's true he DID sing loud enough to hear last nite! I thought he did better, he actually IS talented, but he does need a few years practice.
But think about the fact that J LO can become a famous singer. Her voice is so not good. If she can be a popular singer, ANYONE can.
I bet if Hilary Duff or J Lo were on idol, they would get told they are out of their league.
The thing is, it's a voting competition, that British guy was right. It's not a singing competition. It's more a popularity contest. Especially this year. So many good ones left the day they forgot their words and they all got axed. It was aggravating.
I wanted Stephanie to go home, I thought she was not original. I'd rather see originality than someone who sings just like another famous person. Give us a good, unique idol, not someone who's just like this one or that one who lready is on the radio.

Peter Noone said it best Tuesday night...this is a voting competition, not necessarily a singing competition because if it were a singing competition, they wouldn't leave voting up to the audience. There's too many variables to guarantee that the best singer will win. It's who the audience wants, certain websites urging for the worst to be voted for, etc.
I actually didn't think Sanjaya didn't do too bad a job on Tuesday night...at least he was more memorable than Stephanie. She was boring and didn't do anything to make herself stand out.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU!!!! i have no idea why sanjaya is still in the compitition... hes not even a good singer. stephanie deffinately did not deserve to go home.. i am soo ENRAGED by this, i loved american idol, but this year it seems like a COMPLETE JOKE, i mean i have no idea how sanjaya could still be in the compitition?!?! america needs to straighten up, or someone is messing up with the phone lines nad keeping sanjaya in the compotition... I DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON :(

Blame the voting public!!! Sanjaya has that immense appeal Michael Jackson had at that age.... attractive, slightly effeminate.... and, to be fair, while the song choice wasn't great, he did 'step up' and sing out loud for the first time!

There are no amazing singers this year so people are voting for Sanjaya to show how much of a joke this show has become. Shame on the judges for passing him through initially. The boy makes me nauseous.

You need to get a life...
Sanjaya has a good voice, and he sings some good songs...
He is still in there cuz noone else voted for the people they liked...
Same with elections.. If you vote for people you dont like, then its your fault...
And the little girl was very emotional, I think it was her first time to go to a concert type thing...
She was there by accident, she was supposed to go to the Are you smarter than a 5th grader audience... but she ended up staying a bit for the american idol rehearsals.. and liked it so much, that they gave her a ticket to come to the show itself...
you have no heart...
I thought she was cute...

The crying girl was a big time Idol fan. Not just crying cause of Sanjiah! I knew Stephanie would go home. Do not be surprised if next week Sanjiah is still in it. Its out o f hand I totaly agree! I would almost laugh if the worst won the show, and im a BIG fan!

Oh my gosh, I know! This needs to be a singing/performance contest and sanjaya (bless his heart) has none of these talents..or wait, he HAD them, we obviously saw this during auditions, but for some reason he's lossed it...its a shame wats goin on with reality television..
