Can anyone tell me how to transfer phonebook numbers on a Motorola V220 to the SIM card?

My screen is dead, and I cannot see anything on the phone. Help would need to be in form like:
Hit top left button, scroll down three times, hit button ( or number 3)...
If anyone was willing to talk me through while you had your phone open and on, that would be great!
We could get there after an email exchange?!

go into the phone book hit the menu key then down to copy then all to sim
