i'm going to be a sophmore in high school and i am thinking about interior designing. What classes should i be most concerned with taking next year? Like, what should my main focus be towards. What electives should i look for?

I just finished my BFA in Interior Design. I went to Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. I would try and take a class that does computer aided drafting. Whether it is with Autocad, 3D-Studio MAX, Photoshop, anything like that. Those would all be helpful. Take an art class, it will help with your drawing skills. If you have a school that does hand drafting classes I would also try to take that. On your own time, draw, draw, draw! Observational drawings (still life) like fruit bowls or flowers in a vase, even a shoe. Anything that will sharpen your drawing abiltiy and make sure to hang onto the work for a portfolio. You'll need one to get into a design school. Good luck!
