YES!!! I find myself comparing my relationship with those on TV and movies and I start questioning my own. I guess if they were more realistic then the shows would be boring...good question, have a star...

Yes definitely. We become what we associate with. I don't follow the world I follow the laws Set By God. Which are extremely hard to do if you follow society. I am not interested in what society dictates. They lead others down, down, down. I choose to follow the Vedic Culture which is ancient and also similar in the spiritual world. Absolutely. In so many ways. What bothers me, is that most people come home from work, and instead of spending time with their family - they sit in front of the "boob" tube all night. And then they wake up and do the same thing the next day. Its gotta get boring. Thats why I have no television in my house. I just have a monitor where I can watch videos. Believe me, Im happier without it - and I have plenty of time to develop REAL relationships with my family. Besides, who wants to be willingly brainwashed?

Sometimes I think so. But then I think that if these people let their lives be consumed by our modern forms of media and entertainment, then they probably weren't going to be happy off anyway...
