Have it checked out by a doctor as a D V T can cause bruising that can last for months

you may have cracked your bone. Depending on where on your leg is the bruise and how you got it. It will not disappear if you have a serious crack, or even shattered your bone.

Yes, it should be gone.
Not to scare you, but this is a sign of cancer. See your doctor. It could be nothing, but it could be more serious too.
