I'd say......you should watch Ayashi no Ceres aka Ceres Celestial Legend if you want a good romance anime.
you can find all the episodes on youtube.
A funny anime is Strawberry Marshmallow, Digi Charat.
Romantic...sorta comedy. Nana, Maburaho
Did you see Ah! My Goddess? that one is good.
I heard Onegai Twins and Onegai Teacher were good also.

They all have their funny moments but I wouldnt call them all comedies.

Fushigi Yuuig is a good romance anime. Although I wouldn't call it a comedy it has its funny moments.

I can't think of any anime but you could try just reading the manga from some series that you like.
