In regards to the approval of both The House and the Senate Judiciary Committee in issuing subpoenas, and the Bush administration refusing to let Bush aides testify under oath, Snow said this :

"We're not trying to hide things. We're not trying to run from things," he said. "We want them to know what happened."

Can you believe this duplicitous bastard ?

Don't be surprised. Ari Fleitcher did the same thing when he was Bush's spokesman.

I believe Snow. He knows that the Dems in the House and the Senate are only trying to get perjury indictments for White House aids, like they did with Libby. It is an infringement of the separation of powers. Bush's aids have to feel free to give Bush advice without fearing they could be put on trial for whatever they say.

Tell me, are you channeling Al Haig? Oh wait, he isn't dead yet. Anyway, what is the big deal anyway? They could still issue subpoenas. They aren't missing out on anything. Don't forget, this will be a show trial, nothing more. I love it how dems will do anything to "get" Karl Rove. Aren't you guys tired of always losing?
