i have blotchy skin, as well as pimples. =T so ur better off than me! but one thing i've liked that i think improves skin tone is this:

cold milk (small amount), and some nutmeg. apply this to your clean face. allow to dry, wait like 30 min. wash w/ cold water, and then apply moisturizer.

also u can try a honey mask (if ur not allergic to honey on ur skin, test a small patch first!). add lemon, milk, or other natural ingredients. for exfoliation once or twice a month, u can get a few uncovered aspirin, add a few drops of water to soften, and mix w/ honey, apply to clean face, leave on for 30 min. rinse, moisturize. good luck!

You might have something called rosasia. This is where your cheeks are very rosy and red and blotchy. It is simple to cure, i would recommend going to a dermotologist to get it checked out, even though its something small that your mom doesnt think is a big problem. it is obviously effecting you in a big way so go get it checked out! They have lotions they can provide for you that will get rid of it! In the meantime try using only mineral based products on your face, they are specifically for sensitive skin. Stay away from any products that have oil in it! Use a non oil based lotion aswell.

foundation, or other coverups.

Bobbi Brown makes a perfect concealer/foundation that evens skin tone, and moisturizes at the same time. AND, it has UV protection (15)! Bonus- no skin cancer =]

Also, it wont make you break out.

I suggest you go to a department store like Bloomingdales, Barneys, or Neiman Marcus, and go to the makeup section. Find the Bobbi Brown stall and talk to the woman about choosing the perfect one. Guarenteed, she will actually apply it for you, show you how to use it, and help you through the process.

good luck!

Your regular doc can probably give you some creme for it. You may have rosacea which causes redness on cheeks with small pimples. Some people dont get many of the pimple part but lots of redness. You wont need a detmatologist just ask the regular doctor.

do wear a little bit of foundation to even out skin tone, but dont overdo it, let the attention go to your eyes or lips or anything u like about yourself.
does your mom has the same sort of thing? or does your dad have a redder face? it might be rosacea.
look for a skin cream to wear, especiallly at night, that helps to calm redness. (aveeno, positively radiant)
if u have a Shoppers Drug Mart by you, they are good for recommeding different things.
avoid alcholol, coffee and stress.

use a microcrystal skin refinisher once a week, and use green conceler to cover up red spots and uneven skin tone and foundation also helps for an even skintone.
