I really like some people's answers and feel akinship with them. Do you guys have the same experience? Do you think you could make genuine friends here?

I don't really think so. I don't feel that I could anyway. I like a lot of peoples answers and sometimes am amazed that someone answered something the same way I would have. I just don't see how anyone can become friends online. I like for my friends to be able to go do something with me and not have to chit chat with them via computer all the time.

I think it is possible to make real friends with people if you have a connection. I made a real good friend through a Mom's Yahoo group and we now IM every day back and forth and we even call each other sometimes. We have "known" each other now for about 5 years.....

It's not impossible, but you must remember that the person may not be who you think
For myspace, do you know what the person's favorite hangout is? If so, you probably can arrange a meeting. Just bring a friend. After all...the more, the merrier!

Actually, a little embarrassed to say...I met my husband on MySpace. We talked forever on line and when we met, we feel in love! It was awesome. While I dont have a myspace account anymore, I talk to many women in the yahoo groups I am in, in other ways...

I have made some friends online. Some of them I have met and they often seem different in real life, but others have become trusted friends.

On-line friendships are do-able. Easier, I think, than making friends in the "real world"... a little one-dimensional though.

No because it does not allow to exchange your contects. ou are in dark about me and I am also till facilities of exchanging email id or phone numner is allowed
