No - white eyeliner on the top lid looks like a stripe especially against tan skin. Black eyeliner only on the bottom lid would look like an underline.

The purpose of eyeliner is to make lashes look longer and more lush and to add drama.

Are you trying to make your eyes look smaller? If so, try letting your brows get a little fuller so they look proportionate to your eye. Also, avoid dark, heavy eyeliner. Stick w/ soft neutral eye shadows and use minimalistic mascara. (clear or soft black, no lengthening or curling formulas)

There is nothing wrong w/white eyeliner! Either go all black or all white. If you do go white, do it very subtle and don't curl your eyelashes, so the white stands out. Put only a few of coats of mascaras, don't over due it. Favorite white eyeliner is Benefit's Mr. Frosty (glittery white, but not so bright) $18 or for a whiter effect try Prestige waterproof eyeliner in star $4.99.

white eye liner is usually used for making your eyes look bigger I have small eyes and when I want them to look bigger I use my white eyeliner on the inside of the bottom of my eyes if you are wanting to minimize your eyes try using a balack or a brown eyeliner on the top of your eyes and on the inside of your bottom lashes that should help you crreate the look that you want hope this helps some

Try silver or use a light silver color on your eye lid and then use a black liner on top and bottom.

I'm not sure about the white liner? I think the black would look GREAT! It is about preference though. If you want to, try it out. If you dont like it, then take it off! :)

no white eye liner makes your eyes look bigger just put black on the top only.

Pure white can make eyes look bigger and more bright and shiny. Any high quality brand will do (it is important, because you are to apply the product on a very sensitive eye area).

Use an eye shadow. That might work. You want to use a lot though because white wears off easily.

With a darker skin tone, I would go with a metallic silver shadow instead of a harsh white! And dont worry metallics are stylish now

never wear white on your lid.. the only thing you should used white for is the inside of your eyes to make the white of your eyes brighter thus making your eyes look bigger.. but no.. never use white as eyeshadow or color.. it looks tacky and kind of trashy..
