I believe its not more along the lines of "right and wrong" but more in "what works and what doesn't work".

It is a matter of spiritual principles that govern existence. The term "spiritual" is literal not ethereal. The expression of these principles are seen within the harmony of the union of all living things.

When these spiritual principles are violated, the negative "ripple affect" is the long term consequence - which is seen in the imbalance of nature expressed through famines, destructions, earthquakes, tsunami's, hurricanes, etc..

Right and Wrong is a simplifed expression of exercising the principles according to design (Right); or violating the principles against its design (Wrong).

Having a free will with the ability to do both right and wrong, learning and knowing the spiritual principles that govern the game of life will equip you to win the game of life, by learning what works, why it works, and working it.

Seems like the gray area becomes larger with each generation. Look at the things that were considered wrong just 30, 40 years ago that are considered o.k. by the majority of society today. Right and wrong does not rest on someone's opinion or majority rule. Something is either right or it is wrong...there is no in between. I feel we may have become too much of an "instant" society wanting everything faster than yesterday and wanting to fix things too quickly without regard for future generations.

It's funny, this question comes up a lot on here, what is always missing is the most important thing... The supreme value in question.
works for what? Living? Dying? God's whims, Societies whims? Animals, the Planet? What, what, what? Be as specific as possible, and the right and wrong will come natural and be obvious.

I think it depends on the situation. There is certainly a time when there is a "what works and doesn't work" assessment, but other times there is right and wrong.

Is your child misbehaving? Does leaving them in a closet all day without food or light work in making them behave better? It might, but it's still wrong.

We live in a society that thinks, "if it's right for you, then it's right for you, even though it might not be right for me." But not everything in life is subjective. There are ablsolutes.

i think its often relative to the situation you are speaking of,,,,,, what is right at a certain point in time, for one person, might or would be wrong another time,,,,,, yes, it can be what works and what doesnt,,,,,,, or what solves the problem or doesnt,,,,,,,,
for example, its wrong to kill, yet its also wrong to let someone kill you,,,,,,, or your family,, so the ending of the attackers life becomes a right,,,,,,

I go by the do unto others rule. It's a waste of time to go into all the detail of ethics. It all should come down to that. All else is personal preference.

There is no right or wrong; only thinking makes them so.

stop create opinions. With absence of opinions right/wrong paradigm will simply cease to exist...what a relief
