why are girls more faithful than men?

is it a chemical thing and if so ,do women who cheat have the same chemical in them. Do faithful people not have it?

they're not......I'm not sure why everyone thinks that. Maybe because the men get caught more often? Who knows.....but I think women cheat just as much as men....who do you think the men are cheating with?

Bad assumption and completely untrue. Women are every bit as bad as they claim men are. Infact, in many ways, women are far worse. They just wont see or admit it to themselves.

It isnt a chemical thing or an imbalance, except in the morals department. Thats it. Dont believe all this crap about chemicals and so forth. It is just people trying to have an excuse.

Women are natural nurturers. That is, they naturally gravitate to one man who then fulfills their need to nurture. Men, on the other hand, are hunters. They enjoy the challenge, no matter what it is. In times past, men spent long hours in the forests, hunting for food. This satisfied their desire to subdue their prey. But now that we live in a modern society, the gathering of food is no longer an issue. Hence, for lack of something constructive to do, men now use their natural talents to hunt females! If women understood this simple fact--that it's all about the hunt, they (women) would be happier people. Once a guy has conquered a woman, he's ready to move on to his next feast. Wake up, girlfriend!

over all. women are designed to be nurterers. men are hunter gatherers. that s just the way God made us. men support and provide and that gene is still in us. thats why we are more agressive than women.. women as nurterers do the child rearing.becsues it takes a nurtering hand to raise a child.dont know anything about a chemical thing.. maybe PBS did a piece on it and it has confused you...read the first part of genesis in the bible and you can see what God had in mind for the sexes

From a procreation point of view a man can have a virtually unlimited number of children while women are limited by age so men have traditionally been socialised to be more promiscious.

Women (and men) who cheat just have less self control than people who don't.

I think its because most men dont have any self control and when it comes to sex they dont care about anyone but themselves, they could be dating the most beautiful girl in the world, and still cheat on her... women also cheat dont get me wrong but its usually do to an unhappy relationship.. cheating is terribly wrong, why cheat?? just get out of the relationship and then sleep with whoever you want!!!

I'm not convinced they are. Men are having affairs with women, so those women, married or not demonstrate the same disregard for marriage as their married lovers.

Therefore, when it comes to being faithful to what marriage means, men and women are unfaithful in equal numbers.

In my opinion, a male has a higher sex drive than a female (most generally) and it is the womans job to 'take care' of her man, even if this means she has sex when she doesnt feel like it sometimes. I believe the only thing that would make anyone cheat is if they are not getting their needs met by their significant other...male of female.

Says you dude, from 17 yrs in the Army let me tell you I know just as many, if not more, cheating women. They just don't caught as often as the cheating guys do. My opinion is simple, all cheaters suck and have no self respect.

men are more promiscuous because they are sort of "programmed" that way for survival of the species. One man can have 100+ of children so long as he does not stick to one woman. i do not think this is the reason people cheat necissarily, but it is why men are more promiscuous in general than women.
