Yes, there is a wheat product that was added to the food that was spoiled. The tainted wheat is making the dog & cat food unsafe for our pets. There is a long list on most major news websites. If you find the brand of dog food you use on the list get your pet to the vet fast and have your pet checked out. Hope this helps.

They are focusing on Wheat Gluten and or Afltoxin.
Wheat Gluten is the filler in the dog food that makes the gravey thick and the Alftoxin is a mold that grows on the wheat and it is dangerous to animals.

Well, veterinarians and biologists are not quite sure what exactly is casuing all the renal and kidney failure/deaths etc.. but it may be contamination of the gluten in the dog food because they recently got a new supplier.

They are suggesting the wheat gluten is the problem but can't prove it, can't find anything in their testing etc.. They don't know.. which is very sad!
